How to Install and Set Up Storemapper on WordPress
Follow these step-by-step instructions to install and configure the Storemapper plugin on your WordPress website.
Install the Storemapper Plugin
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to the left-hand menu and click on Plugins.
- In the search bar, type Storemapper and find the plugin.
- Click Install to add it to your website.
Activate the Storemapper Plugin
- Still in the Plugins section of the WordPress menu, find and click on Installed Plugins.
- Locate Storemapper in the list of installed plugins.
- Click Activate to enable it on your site.
Retrieve Your Storemapper Account Data
- Create your Storemapper account here.
- Open your Storemapper dashboard in a new tab.
- Go to Settings > Installation.
- Under Instructions for popular platforms, select WordPress.
- Copy the Account Data provided in this section.
Connect Storemapper to Your WordPress Site
- After activating the plugin, a new option called “Storemapper” will appear in the WordPress left-hand menu.
- Click on Storemapper.
- Paste the Account Data you copied from Storemapper into the appropriate field.
- Click Save to complete the setup.
Add the Store Locator to a Page
- In your WordPress menu, go to Pages.
- Select an existing page where you want to add the store locator or create a new one.
- In the WordPress editor, click on Add Block.
- Search for and select the Storemapper block.
- Save or publish the page to make your store locator visible on your website.
