Adding multiple sets of translations

Do you have several locations across the world and would like to display your map in a different language? Storemapper supports map translations by updating your current embed code. You can update this embed code with as many translations as you want.

Create translations

1: Navigate to Settings on the left hand menu and select Customise text

2: Once you have selected Add Translation, complete the fields in the language you wish to use.

The Language name that you choose will be placed in your embed code so we recommend to keep it short such as “fr” or “de”

Add any number of translations using above steps.

Load Storemapper widget with specific language set

You can use specific parameter in the embed code to tell Storemapper what translation to load.

data-storemapper-language = “language name” (the same way you named it in your settings)

Your map and text will now show in your chosen language.
